Account & Data Deletion
This page explains how to delete your Open Referral agent account, what we delete, and what we are required to keep.
Two ways to delete your account
From the app
- Open the Open Referral app and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted.
Your account is closed immediately and you are signed out on every device.
Without the app
Email info@openreferral.us from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. Include your full name and the phone number on the account so we can verify it is you.
Email a deletion requestWe confirm by reply and complete verified requests within 30 days.
What we delete
- Your profile: name, email address, phone number, licence number and state, brokerage, bio and profile photo
- Your sign-in credentials and all active sessions
- Device tokens used to send you push notifications
- Your in-app notification history and app preferences
What we keep, and for how long
Everything else is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
Consumer (lead) information
Contact details of buyers and sellers referred to you belong to that person, not to your agent account. Deleting your agent account does not delete their record.
If you are a buyer or seller and want your information removed, email info@openreferral.us and we will handle it directly.
